“For Sure, 24 hours a day, you have a home” Pastor Sammie Nawali

I have gotten some very good news today. I had lunch with my friend, Pastor Sammie Nawali. I’ve known Sammie for almost 3 years now.  He is the pastor of Cornerstone Christian Church here in Nakuru and has a boys orphanage called, Sure24. Beside the boy orphanage, he runs a community feeding program every Saturday where all who attend receives a meal,  Bible story or lesson. He has a  primary community school too.  Sammie is one of my closest friends here and has come to my rescue many times. With all Sammie does, you think he cannot take on anything else. But, when he sees a need, he tries to address that need and help.  Sammie saw the need to help the girls who needs rescuing from early forced childhood marriage and female genital mutilation and other problems the young girls have here. Now, Sure 24 Girls Home is up and running!  Praise God!!!  You may be wondering, “what does Sure 24 mean”?  It’s just this…For sure, 24 hours a day, you have a home.  I just love this name!!! Please join with me and Sammie in helping these girls. This project has been a long time coming and it’s here in Nakuru close to my home.  Right now, I’m looking at placing 2 girls at Sure 24. I’m really looking forward to working very closely with Sure 24 and being able to help so many more girls. But, I need your help to do this.

If you would like to help give a girl a life, please go to www.themissionsociety.org. Call the 800 number and tell them you want to help with the Kenya Girls Rescue Project. They will tell you how and give you all the options for donating. But, please be sure to put us on your prayer list.

Forever His servant & yours,

Teresa June
